Start checking your pages
in three steps.

Add your website, capture a baseline, and compare new screenshots after updates. No test scripts or code to install.

  1. 01

    Choose your pages

Enter your website’s address and import its sitemap. Choose the pages you want to monitor and the desktop or mobile widths that matter.

  2. 02

    Capture and compare

Save a baseline screenshot for each page. Check again after an update, or use a daily or weekly schedule available on your plan.

  3. 03

    Review visual changes

See the changed areas highlighted. Approve an expected update or reject an unwanted change. Receive alerts by email, Slack or webhook on Pro and Business.

Real websites need
more than a screenshot.

Check the pages your visitors actually use. Compare environments, work around changing content, and bring visual checks into your release routine.

Compare staging with production

See how an update looks before it goes live. Compare screenshots of matching pages across staging and production, without changing your baseline.

Starter, Pro and Business

Keep changing content out of the way

Ads, timestamps and rotating content can distract from a layout change. Use CSS selectors to hide or blur those elements before screenshots are compared.

Check more than one screen width

A desktop layout can look right while its mobile menu breaks. Compare full-page screenshots at your chosen widths and review each layout separately.

Check after every update, or on a schedule

Start a run when your changes are ready. Use scheduled checks to find unexpected changes between releases, then review what happened in your screenshot history.

Daily or weekly schedules depend on your plan

Bring comparisons into your workflow

Trigger a check after deployment through the API. Connect an AI assistant through MCP to start runs and retrieve results. Send alerts to email, Slack or a webhook.

Pro and Business

Focus on
real changes.

When new content pushes the rest of a page down, PixelHawk accounts for that vertical shift. This helps reduce false positives from moved content and small rendering variations, so you can focus on what changed.

We developed PixelBench to test whether our engine catches meaningful visual changes and avoids false positives. We use the results to improve each release.

What exactly does PixelHawk do?

PixelHawk captures screenshots of the pages you monitor and compares them with a saved baseline. It highlights visual changes so you can spot a broken layout, missing content or an unexpected shift without checking every page by hand.

Can I compare staging with production?

Yes. On Starter, Pro and Business, add staging and production as environments and compare the same pages between them. Review the visual changes before you publish an update. Protected pages require Pro or Business.

How often does it check my site?

Run a check on demand, set a daily or weekly schedule where your plan allows, or trigger a run from your CI pipeline with API access. Each run captures your selected pages at the breakpoints you have configured.

Do I need to write tests or install a plugin?

No. Add your site by its URL, choose the pages and breakpoints you want to monitor, and PixelHawk handles capture and comparison. It works without a plugin, test scripts or code to install.

What happens when it finds a change?

You get a before-and-after comparison with changed regions highlighted. Filter your review queue, approve expected updates or reject unwanted changes. Email, Slack and webhook alerts are available on Pro and Business.

Can it ignore content that changes on purpose?

Yes. Mask changing content such as ads and timestamps so you can focus on your layout. Choose the elements with CSS selectors. Hiding removes an element from the layout; blurring keeps its space.

Can I check password-protected pages?

Yes. Pro and Business support Basic Auth and configured form logins. The pages must be reachable by PixelHawk.
